The German Language University Entrance Examination for Foreigners (DSH) is a language proficiency test for non-native speakers, and is mandatory prior to studying at German higher education institutions. The outcome of your test determines which of the three levels you have attained: DSH1, DSH2 or DSH3. The DSH2 level is sufficient for admittance to most subjects. Other subjects, such as medicine, require language skills at the DSH3 level.
The Institute of Interpretation, Translation, and Languages can offer flexible preparation courses with examination training:
- Private tuition
- Courses in small groups, both full-time or part-time.
You may join an ongoing course at any time, provided you have the appropriate language skills.
