Orientation courses are a component of the integration courses and take place after the language courses. This course comprises 60 teaching units, in which participants learn about the German legal system, and the basics of German history and culture. The course also discusses rights and obligations, and addresses social values such as equality and tolerance. The Institute of Interpretation, Translation, and Languages offers all varieties of orientation courses:
- Full-time and part-time
- Morning, afternoon, and evening.
The orientation course exam takes place at the end of the course, during the last lesson.
